Hello to all,
Well this week was a lot of fun! Another transfer is ready to go
and this week is the week that the magic happens! So It will be a lot
of fun, actually these next few weeks are pretty busy. But I will get
to see a lot of the mission! So it should be good!! We have some
incredible investigators here. This area is magical. So many great
people, I think it is actually just a Texas thing. Everything is nicer
here ;)
No but things really are so good right now! I am loving the mission
life! I have loved the last few months because of the experience I
have gained and it really has helped me become a more confident
missionary. I still have so much to learn but it has been so
incredible to see my effectiveness grow as I have gained experience.
Hope all is well and continue to work hard!

New Companion
To all!
This week is great! I have a new companion and he too was baptized
about a year before his mission! It is pretty cool to hear his story
and to hear the things that are different but interestingly enough the
many similarities. He is a great man and I am excited to serve the
remainder of my mission with him.
This week we have really thought about how gaining knowledge or
even having a belief in anything doesn't change you. But it is the
action that then follows that brings the change or the miracle. If we
truly want our testimony of Jesus Christ to change us and if we really
want to become more like our Heavenly Father we need to begin to act
on the principles that are taught in the scriptures. Otherwise it is
not worth anything.
It has been a real fun week and hope to continue to work hard.

New Year
To all,
This has been such an interesting week. A little bit of the fall
out from the holiday season I am sure. But a lot of great things are
happening. Elder Mangum and I are pretty stoked of what is to come. We
are teaching so many really cool people!
That is one of the coolest things about the mission! Just meeting
so many incredible people! I love that about the mission, it is like
going best friend hunting hahaha. That is a little weird, but it is
true! I have made sooo many new friends and have created real eternal
relationships! It truly is special because on both ends, there is a
lot of sacrifice from one another to a single purpose. Us as
missionaries pray, study, focus and work for our investigators all so
that they can come closer to Christ. And the investigator changes
their entire life, sacrificing friends, jobs, habits and time so that
they can come closer to Christ. I am often reminded how mch more they
are sacrificing than me. It is so incredible. In the end, we part with
stengthened testimonies of our Savior Jesus Christ and of the
Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Prophet Joseph
Smith. And knowing that the sacrifices from the person across from you
have gotten you to that point is truly incredible. It has been such a
blessing in my life.
I love you all! Take care and have a great week!
